Jon Bonné is one of the leading American voices on wine and food today.

He is currently the Managing Editor of RESY, after spending several years as Senior Contributing Editor for PUNCH, where his work won him Feature Writer of the Year at the Roederer Awards, and Best Columnist from the IACP.

For nearly a decade, he served as the Wine Editor and Chief Wine Critic of The San Francisco Chronicle, where he co-edited its Food & Wine section and earned numerous accolades, including some of the nearly dozen honors he’s received from the James Beard Foundation.

He is also author of the critically acclaimed book The New French Wine, along with the bestselling The New California Wine and The New Wine Rules. And he spent several years as the wine consultant for JetBlue Airways, developing its award-winning wine program.

With more than two decades in journalism, Bonné brings a critical eye and a well-trained palate to the world of food and wine.
